This 3391-3 Short Wedge Plate with Fixing Screws from Vinten is designed to be used when a standard-length wedge would obstruct a camera's cooling fan intake. It is secured beneath the camera and slides into the 3389-3 Automatic Wedge Adapter (or any comparable adapter), which in turn fits onto a pan-and-tilt head.
